Share your shelf…

Following on from my article the other day about recommended books to read in 2013, where I shared part of my bookshelf, comms professionals have been sending me photographs of theirs.

It’s fascinating seeing the variety of publications that are kept within reach to refer to. If you work in or are interested in comms, teel free to send me yours – tweet me @AllthingsIC and I’ll add it to the slideshow below. I cheekily snapped the bookshelf at simply-communicate when I was in their studio for #simplytv yesterday.

What is on your reading list for this year? I discovered the other day that current students on PR and Comms courses are being encouraged to refer to books published within the last four years. The pace of change, particularly due to the rise of social media, is such that they need to find recent publications.

You can see lists of recommended books to read via my Rachel’s resources page. Including my list from 2011 that focused on new ones. The photo album on this page includes the photos I have received so far below – you can comment and rate, and do send me yours via Twitter @AllthingsIC.
Thanks as ever for stopping by, Rachel
